Testimonials

Over time, a lot of people have been through KAYEC’s trainings and graduated. Some started their own businesses, others had the wish to continue with their training at another VTC. To give an idea about a freshly graduated trainee’s wishes and plans, there is an interview with some participants of last years intake:

Are you a an alumni and would like to give a comment on how your time at KAYEC impacted you? Have you graduated KAYEC and built up a business or advanced your skills afterwards? Then you are more than welcome to contact us via facebook or instagram to share your experiences and success stories!

We are currently aiming to gather more testimonials and present them in a better way. Until time comes, we will leave these two alumni-reports here…

I took the risk to apply for ECD (Early Childhood Development) after a failed career which i wanted to continue with, but i gave up. When I got accepted at KAYEC, I started my journey in the field of education. I chose the ECD course, because I was really into learning more about children and I have a lot of patience, which is probably a useful attribute to have in that trade.
I joined the TRC committee and was responsible for matters regarding education, f. e. helping others with subjects they were struggling in. I was a very introverted person before, but the challenges of being part of the committee made me improve my social skills a lot!
My time at the KAYEC really opened my mind and boosted up my self-confidence. I really enjoyed being there!
Also, I can proudly say that I was the best overall performer in my trade and in the whole school. If it wasn’t for my trainers who gave all their best and always told us to push harder, to aim for graduation and proceed at a higher institution, I wouldn’t have made it this far. I will forever be greatful for the love and care i received during my time at KAYEC. Currently, I’m doing my Level 5 at Namcol and soon I will be doing my Level 7.

I did an ECD-training at KAYEC back in 2019.
After having completed my training, I worked at a kindergarten for about one year but then I decided to persue another another field of work. But somehow I found my way back to social work:
I am currently studying Psychology at Triumphant College since I am very interested in education. So I’m planning to advance my knowledge and continue going in that direction.

I am thankful for the Early Childhood Development (ECD) course at KAYEC I did last year for six months. I completed it and got a certificate. It has helped me so much! I was able to achieve something – even at my age. KAYEC has taught me it does not matter, who you are or how old you are, that there is always the opportunity to grow and learn. Because of KAYEC’s help, I got admitted at Namcol college to advance my knowledge in Early Childhood Development – at Level 5!

I just want to encourage those that are willing to learn even more at whatever age to just pick up a course at Kayec. It has truly changed my life. You will learn so much in such a short time.

Like they say, “No one is too old to learn and education is the key to so many opportunities in life,” – so do not waste time and take the chance to learn something new. Everyday.

I must start off by admitting that I was quite skeptical about the idea of enrolling myself at Kayec. For the first two weeks, I could not help but wonder if I actually made the right decision. Kayec soon eliminated all my doubts, with their unique set up on conducting their training and I was ready to invest all of the time I had left.

I was amazed by the dedication of the instructors and the attention they gave to each of their trainees while keeping a professional boundary. If it was not for their strict rules, I would have given up long before I was elected as a member of the Trainees Representative Council (TRC) which boosted my confidence and added to my leadership skills.

KAYEC has helped me stay motivated on my goals and vision up until the end of my training. The fact that the training is completed in a period of 6 months made me wish to advance further, so I enrolled myself at WVTC. I was soon fortunate enough to get a three-year apprenticeship contract while I was in my first year – in my eyes that is also thanks to KAYEC.
I am glad I enrolled myself at KAYEC and will always be appreciative of all the staff members.
