Above seen are some of the trades who took part in the National Skills Competition and exposition which was held at Ramatex complex from the 3-6 April 2019.
The Competition and exposition was held under the theme ‘TVET as a catalyst to economic transformation and industrialisation’ .
Different speakers(national and international) shared ideas on how TVET can be positioned not to be the last career option for many learners in most countries.
According to research TVET is not attractive enough to invest in, thus speakers discussed effective mechanisms that can be used to enhance TVET attractives and level the playing field between higher education and TVET.
This exposition and Competition was mainly made possible by NTA, World Skills Namibia and Ministry of Higher Education, Training and Innovation.
